Sextus, Goalkeeper - Entumwa

It's not a usual thing for a keeper to keep 3 clean sheets in a league of sharpshooters. Sextus currently leads the golden glove race with 6 clean sheets and he is one of the reasons Entumwa are unbeaten. A good keeper who doesn't concede will win 19 points in our league.

 

Moses, Defender - Abezekyenda

The tall centerback was dorminant as Abezekyenda kept 2 clean sheets against Abomutumba and Enturi. His game reading, tackling, aerial prowess were key to his inclusion in team of the week.

 

Credo, Defender - Legends

Chair was an own goal machine last season. This season his performances have improved immensely. His  marauding box to box runs that caused problems for Ntemi Chiefs and Emanzi. He won his duels well. Chair Credo laid on the assist for Kansime's goal against Emanzi in the 2-2 thrilling draw between Legends and Emanzi.

 

Sam, Midfielder - Abakawu

We knew Sam, the information prefect who gave us news bites every Monday morning assembly. On Sunday, he was giving his opponents a midfield maestro performance and his opponents kowtowed. The player of the week scored against Ababombo and set up Peterson's winning goal against Abomutumba to wrap up a colorful performance and help Abakawu match in top 6 convo.

 

Lambert, Midfielder - Abakachai

Lambert is skilled and a team player. He is blessed with versatility, passion, game intelligence and  composure on the ball. He scored and set up Cedric's brace against Amahoome. He was also dominant in midfield as Akachai picked up a point against Amahoome.

 

Edmund, Midfielder - Abaleni

Edmund has shades of  former Sevilla winger Jesus Navas in terms of playing style. He is direct, a good dribbler and loves nutmegs. His silky left foot caused havoc amongst Nsiikye Saints and Abanihizi defenders. His electric performance and 2 goals against both teams earn him a slot on team of the week.

 

Abaho Mark, Midfielder - Solutions

Mark is the unsung hero of a solutions team where Rogers Science, Senkima and Kiga P always grab the headlines. The tenacious box to box midfielder always breaks up play and links up to support Bernard Kiga P and Albert in attack. He was pivotal as solutions defeated Aboojo and had a good game against Enturi.

 

Josephat, Striker - Abanihizi

The Peter Crouch of the league but this one is more aggressive and skilled. A handful to the build up against Stephen's own goal in the game against Abakuubwa, 2 well taken goals and an assist against Abaleni guaranteed his slot here.

 

Derrick, Striker - Legends

The league's joint top scorer and one of the most feared forwards continued his blistering form with 2 goals and 2 assists against Ntemi Chiefs and Emanzi.
